Running your first audit is a critical step to gain insights into your website’s performance and get actionable recommendations for improvement. Follow these steps to run an audit on your website using Klar.

Step 1: Navigate to the Dashboard

Start by accessing your Klar dashboard. This is where you will manage all audits, both current and past.

Step 2: Select Your Website

  1. Click "Run Your First Audit"

    • On your dashboard, find and click the "Run Your First Audit" button. This will open a modal where you can configure your audit settings.

  2. Choose Your Website

    • In the modal, select the website you want to audit from the dropdown menu.

  3. Enable Screenshot Option (Optional)

    • Decide if you want screenshots taken of each issue found during the audit. This option is useful for visualizing issues but can significantly slow the process, extending it to 30-50 minutes. Please be sure to use caution.

Step 3: Start the Audit

After configuring your audit settings, click the “Start Audit” button to initiate the process. Klar’s AI will begin analyzing your website based on the parameters you’ve set.

Step 4: Monitor Audit Progress

While Klar’s AI performs the audit, you can monitor the real-time progress on the dashboard. Audits typically take a few minutes to complete, although enabling the screenshot option may extend this to 30-50 minutes.

Step 5: Review Audit Results

Once the audit is complete, you will receive a detailed report outlining your website’s current performance, any issues found, and actionable recommendations to improve various aspects of your site.
